Fuji Gran Fondo 2.5 C Road Bike - 2015. Updated with an 11-speed Shimano 105 drivetrain, the 2015 Fuji Gran Fondo 2.5 C features geometry that'll keep you comfortable all-day long without sacrificing the performance you demand. Using a longer head tube than a traditional race bike, about 10mm on a 55cm frame, the Gran Fondo creates a slightly more upright rider position in order to stave off upper body fatigue on longer rides. The longer wheel base makes handling snappy, but predictable. An all-new, cutting-edge Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain and Oval Concept components add modern technology and maximum efficiency to a great all-around bike. The Gran Fondo frame is made from Fuji's proprietary C5 high modulus carbon blend. High modulus is an engineering term which defines stiffness in fibers. Therefore, a high modulus frame has a stiffer blend of fibers which results in less flex and better transmission of power spent. Carbon fiber, used for much of its modern life in the aerospace industry, is a valuable high performance product for its lightweight, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion properties. The C5 frame is further refined with a Shimano press fit bottom bracket and tapered head tube. The larger press fit design allows Fuji to move the frame material around, thinning out the seat stays and strengthening the chain stays, which puts the carbon where it matters to you most. The tapered head tube stiffens the front end of the bike for better power transmission. The Gran Fondo 2.5 C is outfitted with Shimano's stellar 105 11-speed group. The Shimano 105 shifters deliver smooth, crisp shifting and provide excellent modulation and stopping power with the 105 brakes. The 11-speed rear derailleur integrates the wide-link design found in Dura-Ace and Ultegra for increased durability and amazing shifting performance. Oval Concepts has long been revered for producing high quality components. The Oval 327 aero clinchers provide a slight speed advantage without going overboard and losing comfort. They are outfitted with Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tires that have a slick surface for low rolling resistance and a wider 25c profile for greater stability, especially while cornering. An R500 saddle with chromoly rails and a 905 carbon seat post add more comfort to an already relaxed and comfortable carbon performance road bike. The Fuji Gran Fondo 2.5 C is meant to be enjoyed no matter your length of ride. While it is capable of high speed, you may never need it as you roll down the road in the quiet, zen-like comfort that we call riding a road bike.

Fuji Transonic 1.1 Road Bike - 2016. Aero is the new buzzword in the cycling industry, and it's much more than just hype. Study after study has shown that aerodynamics Is the single most important factor when it comes to unleashing a rider's full potential. Those gains can come from a lot of places--like body position, deep section wheels, and helmets--but the frame is one of the most important places Which is why Fuji introduced the Transonic, which incorporates all the latest aerodynamic advances of the last few years into a single, race proven platform. The Fuji Transonic 1.1 Road Bike is the result of years of aerodynamic research and engineering. Fuji was one of the first companies to go aero with their beloved SST model. They've evolved the concept further, taking lessons learned from the development of their other super bikes, the Norcom Straight and Track Elite, plus input from their pro riders on the Caja-Rural pro team, who have ridden the bike to victory after victory in 2016. The Fuji Transonic 1.1 frame has been design to help you cut through the wind. Fuji's engineers spent several years wind-tunnel testing and FEA-modeling the Transonic frame to achieve the right shape to help you gain an advantage on your competitors. They found that while aerofoil shapes may be aerodynamically efficient, they compromise the rigidity of the frame. They also don't perform as well in a cross-wind, and can compromise your control of the bike To solve this problem, Fuji uses a wide cross-section tube shape made from C10 high modulus carbon fiber that cuts through the wind but increases stiffness, and increases your control of the bike at speed. They also borrowed some of the most successful wind-cheating elements of their hyper-fast Track Elite and Norcom Straight TT models. An aerodynamically contoured head tube-fork-downtube junction blends the frame areas together to ensure smooth, uninterrupted airflow over the front of the bike and across the downtube. The seat tube-seatstay junction is sculpted to reduce turbulent air exiting the seat tube -- in the Transonic's case, contoured around the rear brake to shield it from the wind. An aero seat post with an integrated seat clamp that produces cleaner airflow, plus a roughened surface on the front of the seat post to ensure the post doesn't slip. The seat tube is also contoured around the rear wheel to minimize drag. But having a super-aero frame only gets you so far. You need great components to round out the build. Shimano Dura-Ace 9070 Di2 is the choice of the pro's and for good reason. Powerful, computer controlled electronic shifting gives you crisp and accurate shifting everytime. You can even shift under load or while climbing. The battery charge is good for over 1,200 miles, so you never have to worry about running out of juice. Rounding out the package is a bevy of carbon. Oval Concepts R910 carbon bars, Oval 707 stem, aerodynamic Transonic seatpost, and a pair of super aerodynamic and ultr

Fuji Roubaix 1.3 Road Bike - 2016. Now, we say this quite a bit about Fuji bikes, because we love them after all, but the Fuji Roubaix 1.3 hits the sweet spot when it comes to road performance and body comfort. After all, you can't just throw a bunch of nice parts on a bike and expect it to ride well. Bikes need to be engineered for the demands of their riders. Fuji knows that as well as anybody. Bikes have been around for over 100 years and they've been endlessly tinkered with and refined for longer than cars have been around. Fuji, one of the oldest brands still in existence today, continues to produce their Roubaix model, but doesn't tinker with it for one reason: you. You say so. The Fuji Roubaix 1.3 road bike is exactly what you want, and has been for years. It has a superior design, competent components, and it's dependable as can be. It's one of our best-selling models and will continue to be for years to come. The Fuji Roubaix is designed with more aggressive race geometry to improve critical aerodynamics for maximum speed, and meet the end goal of elevating your performance. Fuji uses their proprietary aluminum tubes, which are butted, to increase the frame's durability and maximize rider energy output through enhanced stiffness. A Press-Fit BB86 bottom bracket shell provides more surface area to attach a larger down tube and chain stays for better stability and rigidity under load. The internal bearing design is also lighter than traditional external cups as well. The shorter head tube of the Roubaix lowers the handlebar position and consequently puts you in a more aerodynamic riding position. Additionally, the head tube is tapered to improve front-end handling and increase strength under rider torque. Finally, the Roubaix frame is designed with shorter chainstays, which results in a shorter wheelbase for precise handling at a moment's notice, and a full carbon fork (carbon steerer too) to smooth out the road ahead. Every Roubaix has a mix of great components. The 1.3 features a Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain parts and an Oval 520 mid-compact crankset. A forgiving 11/28 cassette allows you to handle grades of all kinds without sacrificing big gears for power. Oval's luscious suede tape and road tuned saddle make every ride enjoyable and sturdy alloy bars, stem and seatpost keep you confident and in control. Fuji has packed a ton of great detail into the Roubaix 1.3 and we think you'll agree it makes a terrific all-around bike.

Fuji Norcom Straight 1.1 Triathlon Road Bike - 2016. The 2016 Fuji Norcom 1.1 is Fuji's premier offering in the time trial/triathlon bike category. As is common practice at Fuji, designers left no avenue of development unexplored, and worked hand in hand with olympic traithlete Matty Reed and pro triathlon champions Sarah Haskins and Cameron Dye to address issues from a pro rider's perspective, and then translate these inputs into arguably one of the fastest bikes on Earth. The Norcom Straight's C10 carbon frame and FC-330 carbon fork technology represent an amazing jump in stiffness, steering response, and of course, aerodynamics. Norcom was engineered largely in the legendary A2 Wind Tunnel facility in North Carolina, where designers were able to significantly reduce the drag on every yaw angle on the frame and fork, and incorporate the most developed shaping techniques in the industry. The result is an ultra-light, ultra stiff full monocoque carbon frame with race-friendly adjustable vertical dropouts. Norcom Straight's designers placed the rear brake cavity directly behind the bottom bracket (as opposed to being on the seat tube in previous bikes) , and opted to go with a BB86 bottom bracket which moves the bearings outward on the crank axle, dramatically improving the stiffness of both the frame -- through a greater cross-sectional width at the BB shell -- and the crank itself. The result was a surprising 26% increase in stiffness in the BB area, which to a triathlon or time trial rider equals faster times. Using Fuji's newest carbon fiber tubing marvel, Reinforced I-beam (RIB) Technology, designers were able to optimize Norcom's downtube and fork blade stiffness, and couple it with a beefed up 1 head tube achieving an overall front-end stiffness increase of 20% that was reported by pro riders to deliver crisp and predictable steering like no other bike had ever offered. Given the knowledge that aerodynamics are also critical for the rider, Fuji paid specific attention to the adjustability of the rider's position on the Norcom Straight. As input from their top-level riders indicated, an aero bike is an absolute necessity, but a bike must have the versatility to get any rider into an optimized aero position while still maintaining a position in which the rider can run for extended periods of time comfortably and efficiently--designers and athletes agree that this is among the greatest feats achieved on the Norcom Straight project, producing a bike that any rider can race on and reap its greatest benefits. Nothing on the Norcom 1.1's parts roster is left to chance--the components list is top-to-bottom state-of-the-art, pro-level gear. The drivetrain is Shimano's top offering, Dura-Ace DI2 9070--electronic shifting that is so finely tuned and perfectly responsive as to provide seamless adjustments in gearing, at the rider's command, with zero interruptions in the watts going to the rear wheel. Fuji Norcom Straight 2.1 Triathlon Road Bike - 2016. Fuji's designers worked hand in hand with pro team athletes to approach issues from a pro rider's perspective, and then translate these inputs into a bike that can dominate any time trial/triathlon circuit. The result is the Norcom Straight 2.1; one of Fuji's most successful race-level, performance driven offering in the time trial/triathlon bike category, boasting new aerodynamic technology. The Norcom Straight's C5 carbon frame and FC-330 carbon fork technology feature technology that increases stiffness, steering response, and of course, aerodynamics. Norcom was engineered largely in the legendary A2 Wind Tunnel facility in North Carolina, where designers were able to reduce the drag on every yaw angle on the frame and fork, and incorporate the most developed shaping techniques in the industry. The result is one of the industry's lightest and stiffest full monocoque carbon frames. Norcom Straight's designers moved the rear brake to a chainstay mount directly behind the bottom bracket (as opposed to being on the seat tube in previous bikes) , and opted to go with a pressfit BB86 bottom bracket which moves the bearings outward on the crank axle improving the stiffness of both the frame -- through a greater cross-sectional width at the BB shell -- and the crank itself. The result was a surprising 26% increase in stiffness in the BB area, which to a triathlon or time trial rider equals faster times. Taking into account that aerodynamics are not only critical for the bike, but also for the rider, Fuji paid careful attention to the adjustability of the rider's position on the Norcom Straight. Fuji Finest 1.1 Disc Women's Road Bike - 2016. All road bike operations are fairly straightforward. When you pedal? They go. When you hit the brakes? Yep, they stop. However, some bikes take going and stopping to a whole new level. The Fuji Finest 1.3 road bike has a 10-speed, compact Shimano drivetrain to go over nearly any grade of road and a set of disc brakes to stop your bike like no other kind of brake can. The Finest was created to handle rides both big and small, with comfort-road frame geometry, easy to use and durable components, and great styling to show off on the local scene during your weekend rides. Once you settle in over the Finest 1.1's top tube, you'll realize it's compact. The benefits of a compact frame are many, but a few key bonuses are the shorter distance to the handlebar when seated, which alleviates neck, back and wrist strain, while increasing your ability to handle the bike with confidence. The shorter seat tube means greater standover height, so when you pull up to a stop sign you can easily step off the bike with plenty of safe clearance between you and the bike. Also, a shorter top tube means you'll be riding more upright. That means you'll get a greater view of the road ahead and any objects around your bike while your ride. The frame itself is made out of lightweight aluminum and the fork is made of both carbon and aluminum, which reduces the bike's weight and helps to smooth out the vibration from the road. You'll quickly notice that the Shimano Tiagra shifters have a comfortable, ergonomic feel and with a quick flick of the wrist, you'll change gears, depending upon the grade of the road. The Tektro road disc brakes brake on a set of rotors instead of the wheel rim, preserving the life of your wheels and increasing the bike's stopping power. The Finest 1.3 Disc is outfitted with a pair of Vera Corsa wheels and wide, comfortable Vera Helios tires with burly Phalanx puncture resistance. All of these features rolled up into one bike makes it easy to see why the Finest is so popular on weekend rides.

  • Kestrel
Kestrel Legend Road Bike Ultegra - 2016. Ready to ride with the fast boys but want to stay under budget? The Kestrel Legend Ultegra 11-speed is the bike for you. Start with the fact that every Kestrel design is proprietary and engineered from scratch in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, not in some clone factory overseas. After extensive computer-aided design and analysis, the models are tested by sponsored riders and engineers, all nit-pickers and perfectionists. Only then, after miles of test riding under a barrage of conditions, is the Kestrel Legend ready for you The Kestrel Legend Ultegra frame is made from a special blend of 700k and 800k high modulus carbon fiber. While the 700k material is incredibly stiff, the 800k carbon is 30% more stiff, and allows Kestrel to use 20% less material in the production of the frame, which gives you a lighter and stiffer bike. The BB30 press fit bottom bracket and tapered head tube increases the amount of frame stiffness, so every pedal stroke transfers to precious watts. The Legend is outfitted in Shimano Ultegra 11-speed components, which are transforming the component industry because we all want to go to eleven, don't we? Shimano Ultegra features flawless function and lightweight performance. Paired with the Oval Concepts 720 hollow forged crankset, you're ready to assert yourself at the front of the group ride or just hammer your intervals. Ergonomics are further enhanced by a re-profiled perch that reduces overall reach and girth. The wide-link Ultegra rear derailleur's main body was produced with rigid pivots, which creates the foundation for precise shifts. The body and cage design accommodates a 28-tooth large cog so the mountain stages can be attacked with confidence and the semi-compact crank gives you top-end speed on the descent. Oval Concepts has long been lauded for producing high quality components. No one likes to have to buy a second set of wheels because the ones that came with the bike are not the same high quality. With the Oval 527 alloy clinchers you get the speed advantage without going overboard on an aero profile or losing comfort. They come outfitted with Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick tires for top rolling efficiency. A ProLgo Scratch Pro saddle with alloy rails and a 905 carbon-wrapped seat post add more efficiency and reduce weight to an already streamlined high performance road bike that offers top value without compromise.
