The brand Victoria evolves its famous covers in cotton to a new level of performance: Corespun casing reinforced with Kevlar. The result? Vittoria Corsa is more durable and puncture resistant. The tread has four compounds for better speed, grip, puncture resistance and durability.
The innovations of the new racing series? It is a robust carcass derived from the model Pavé but lightened and made more versatile. The cotton used is thick and reinforced with Kevlar, to better protect against cuts and punctures. The truck is driven by the flexible casing Corespun, handmade. Do not waste energy by pedaling on rough surfaces: the casing allows small deformations that avoid unpleasant bumps rubber.
The tread pattern Corsa employs innovative technology to 4C (coumpounds). The compound G + Isotech used is the only one available on the market with Graphene (supplied by technology partner Directa Plus). The tread is glued by hand on the carcass in cotton, on the contrary shell nylon: here the tread is vulcanised directly on the carcass. This eliminates the tension and friction between the tread and the carcass.
What changes with the Graphene?
The new compounds developed through the use of graphene, make coverage more compact or softer depending on the needs. If the direction is unique and constant, the rubber offers lower rolling resistance as possible, while if it is braking, curving or accelerating, the rubber composition is softened, favoring flexibility and therefore grip and traction.
Tubular and open tubular
The new Corsa comes in two versions, a tubular and an open tubular (pictured). The version Stroke (Tubular) is available in sections 23 to 28 “(265 grams), 25 to 28” (280 grams), 28- 28 “(330 grams). Version Race (Open) is available in sections 23-622 / 700x23C (235 grams), 25-622 / 700x25C (240 grams) and 28-622 / 700x28C (265 grams).
